I’ve been to the Riverside Tea Path at Manshui Bridge several times. I think of it as a place to spend a summer afternoon with children: play near the shallow water, sit down for tea, and rest under the trees.
What kind of place is it?
This isn’t a formal tourist attraction. It’s a place where people who live nearby come to spend time outside without planning a full day of sightseeing.
The river, large shade trees, parking area, and restroom make it practical for a family stop. I come here to relax, not for a packed day of activities.
Going with children
Children can play in the shallow-water area, but an adult needs to stay close and watch them. I don’t consider this a swimming spot.
After rain, or whenever the water level rises, take another look at the conditions before letting children near the water. What felt manageable on one visit may not feel the same on another day.
When I would go
Summer is the season when I’m most likely to bring my family here. The shade and water make it a comfortable place to take a break, drink tea, and spend time together.
Weather and water level matter more than the date on the calendar. I would check both before deciding whether it is a good day to stay near the river.
